The design concept of Changji gymnasium is to combine several similar scattered individuals closely according to a certain order to form a whole full of strength and indivisibility. This integrated state at the same time fits the needs of Gymnasium Building for large space. Unity is strength. The temperament of the building fully shows the charm of sports buildings, embodies the spiritual power of sports, and at the same time places the good wish of national unity.

The details of the stadium have also been thoroughly considered. In the design process, we sorted out many national regional architectural symbols and details. These traditional elements are refined and condensed to show in modern ways, which makes the building have a strong recognizability. In the use of materials, we use two different processes for the same stone to make the stone show individual differences in different light, and the diamond pattern is also fully considered the regional characteristics.
